Hot Wheels Brought to Life

Haha...pretty clever Hot Wheels ad. Funny to think this is what little kids might be thinking of when they play with their toys.

Fifa Street 3 Promo Amazes

This has got to be one of the coolest, most amazing soccer videos I have ever seen. I've never been a fan of the sport, I'm more of a baseball kinda guy, but damn this is cool. And it's a promo for Fifa Street 3. How great. Enjoy.

Oral-B Makes a Maze Out of Your Mouth

This is a nice little ad. Very simple, but very too the point and still creative. Nicely done.

Bit Copa Brings the Best Out of Brazil

These ads for Bit Copa, a Brazilian beer are interesting. They're a little strange, but definitely Brazilian. I think the feel of the ads are fun and the idea to paint Brazilian beauties fits for the product. Nice work.

I like this Mini ad, but I'm curious as to where it would have ran. Anyone have any insight?

Plane Crash Captured on Advertising Film

This is a crazy little ad. Watch the video first, then keep reading. So...did you think the plane was crashing? Sucker. This video is actually an ad for X-Travel, a Dutch travel site aimed at teens. I think it's a funny ad, but kinda scary at the beginning. Nice for the target audience, however.

Super Glue May Just Save Your Action Figure's Life

Hahaha...these are great. I love that they don't need any copy. They also bring me back to my G.I. Joe days, when even if it broke, you could still use the pieces for battle scenes. Nicely done.

LEGO Rubik's Cube Confuses

I usually really like LEGO ads, but this one I just don't understand. Why are they showing a Rubik's Cube made out of LEGOs? LEGOs don't rotate like the cube does, so why would someone want to build one? And Rubik's Cubes aren't as fun as LEGOs, they are just kinda frustrating. Does anyone have any insight into this ad for me?

1979 Pakistan Airline Ad Foreshadows 9/11

Talk about foreshadowing. Hindsight is 20/20, but even without the events of 9/11, this 1979 Pakistan Airlines ad should have raised a few red flags. The shadow is way too big to just be doing a fly-by of The World Trade Center.

Fuerzabruta Surprises and Amazes

Last night a surprise work party brought me to Fuerzabruta. I hadn't heard about it before, but was excited from what people were saying outside the doors before the show. Fuerzabruta was like nothing I had been to before. It's hard even now to put into words what the show was like. I'll take a stab at it by saying it was amazing, entertaining, thought-provoking, fantastic, spontaneous, fun, exciting, visual, colorful, artful and is highly recommended. If you are the type of person who enjoys experiencing new things and appreciates an artful performance, you should definitely check out Fuerzabruta. You won't be disappointed.

Listerine Makes Your Speech Bubbles Look Nice

These Listerine ads are kinda clever, but I don't think they are quite clear enough. I think it takes a little too much effort to see that the visuals are speech bubbles. I do like the art direction, however.

Citroen Pulls a Baby Out of a Woman

What the hell? I can find nothing right or good about this ad. The copy reads, "Lack of light and space? C4 Picasso." This is really the best thing they could come up with? Just because the damn van is named Picasso, they put the woman in the ad in a museum. And then the only way they can think to express more light and leg room is with a baby climbing out of a severed woman? Come on!

SPAM Toastvertises Itself

Well this is kinda new, but not really. To promote it's book about itself, The Book of SPAM, SPAM has created this Toastvertising thing. They burnt images onto pieces of bread and then spliced them all together to make their little ad. Kinda cool, but I also feel like I'm being forced to hear the stupid voice over while I watch the amazing moving toast pictures. Check out the making of Toastvertising below, and then buy The Book of SPAM.

Tide Uses Visuals Nicely and Copy Poorly

I really, really like the visuals on these Chinese Tide ads, but the translation of the tagline decreases the effect of these ads. The copy translates, "Remove old stains." You could have done a lot more with such an interesting visual.

JFK Presidential Library Ads Work Well

These ads for the JFK Presidential Library are done very well. I like the art direction and the pairing of the ticket headlines with the images. I'm not sure if I've ever seen ads for a presidential library before, so I can safely say these are the best I've seen.

Save the Rainforest or Swim in a Pool Forever

This is a pretty creative spot to place an ad, and quite a good use of the surroundings. I have to wonder, though, how many people will actually see this ad. Copy reads, "Don’t let this be our future. Save our rainforest, stop global warming.”
