I'm sure most of you have seen this Chevy commercial, "This is Our Country", as it runs a lot. Now, John Mellencamp, the artist who wrote the song and is featured in the spot is speaking out about selling out. He says, "For a guy my age, there's no place for our music to be heard. These records take too long. They're too hard to make, and they're too hard to do, and why would you want to do them unless people are going to hear them?" Well put. Gotta feel bad for an artist who is riding his career as it tumbles down a steep slope. Now go grab his new album.
