I recently found out that there is free kayaking on the Hudson River along the Upper West Side, very close to my new apartment. So, today my girlfriend and I took advantage of the amazing weather and took to the water. The kayak was free for 20 minute intervals. It was a lot of fun and something different to do in New York City. The free kayaking is located on the Hudson River at 72nd Street and operates on Saturdays and Sundays from 10am - 5pm. I highly recommend any adventurous New Yorkers get into the free kayaks on the Hudson.By the way, this is one of the few times I've ever posted a photo of myself on the blog. Don't know why I don't like to post them, but enjoy the kayaking action shot while you can.
