A retoucher got a hold of this Derek Jeter card between proofing and printing and worked some Photoshop magic on it, inserting George Bush in the stands and Mickey Mantle in the dugout. lose their job? you mean gained more recognition for a baseball card than anyone has since the 80s? You mean single handedly get this one card marked up 500%. Meaning that card sharks everywhere are buying topps cards trying to get this 'collector's edition' card?
ReplyDeleteI wouldn't be suprised if we see more of these popping up. The baseball card industry is dead, this one card got topp's landed on the front page of CNN. for someone who has a blog about advertising, they should know this is the best thing that could of happened.
