My friends are amazing and surprised me with a new digital camera for my birthday (my old one is circa 1947 and the Smithsonian wants it). The new camera is a Nikon Coolpix L4 and weighs about 20 lbs. less than the old one. So if you see an improvement in the quality of pictures on this blog, you can thank Dave, Antti, Alex and Telina. I know I am. Alright, gotta go play with my new toy...
