These are really cool, and they did a great job with the art direction and creating the masks, but why masks? Copy reads, "The Original All Star." I don't get it. Anyone have any thoughts?
This, I think is a bit of a rip off (and a poor one at that) of the Nike masks made by Brian Jungen. His notion was to articulate a paradoxical relationship between a consumerist artifact and an 'authentic' native artifact. And they are stunning.
