Greenpeace Tries to Make Kleenex Cry

Most of you have probably seen the current Kleenex Let It Out campaign where they have a guy sit in public spaces with a comfy couch and passers-by sit down to let it all out. Well, the thing was in Times Square over the weekend, and Greenpeace decided they had a few things to say to Kleenex. Activists posed as people wanting to share their stories, but when they got on the couch they revealed they were most upset with Kimberly-Clark for not using recycled fiber in Kleenex. Greenpeace topped off their stunt with a giant banner promoting their own site, Kleercut. Something tells me we won't see these stories in the Kleenex commercials anytime soon.

Bride Pushes Groom Out Window

This ad for the new Court TV show, 'Til Death Do Us Part, is up in Times Square on the W Hotel. It shows a groom falling to his death after his bride has pushed him out the window. The people are larger-than-life sized, and I think it would have been better if they had been true-to-life size. It would have made more of an impact. Still, it's a pretty good media buy to run this wall scape on the exterior of a hotel; a place most couples spend their wedding night.

Post-It Your Boobs

Alright girls, here's a new place to stick those little yellow things called Post-Its. Just scribble a short reminder for men to "look up", and slap that puppy on your huge rack. It may get a few men to notice that you do actually have a face, but your mug is still gonna get cropped out of ads.

MTV Makes Puberty Fun Again

I love these animated online spots for MTV. They've taken your classic puberty characteristics, such as curly black hair, small boobies and strange odors, and turned them into characters. The result is some hilarious animated videos in a series called MTV Puberty. Enjoy the trip back to your adolescence and middle school gym locker rooms. Check out more of the series below, and there's even more here, here and here. Oh, another here, and two more here and here. Last one here.

More Magazine Marathon and Half Marathon

New York City is known for marathons, but seeing how I hate to run even 10 feet, I had never been to one. Well, that all changed early this morning, when I supported my girlfriend and her mom at the More Magazine Marathon and Half Marathon in Central Park. The race was only for women over 40, but younger girls could participate if they had an over-40 sponsor. It was fun to watch, and inspiring to see so many people take on such a difficult physical activity. You're beautiful, ladies.

Beautiful Prices

I really like these. I've never seen prices advertised quite like this, but what is with that last one? It throws me off. Where's the color? One of these things is not like the others, one of these things just doesn't belong...
