Sony BRAVIA Play-Doh Spot is Here

It's here! It's here! The new Sony BRAVIA Play-Doh ad is here! This is like Christmas. Well, maybe more like Easter with all of the rabbits and colors. The spot looks great. The hi-res spot is available on the Sony website, but you must sit through a bunch of colour facts to get to it. It looks great though, and is well worth the wait.

This spot is a little different than the previous Balls and Paint, in that those were in slow-motion, this one is in stop-motion. From the Sony website, "The third TV commercial for BRAVIA is the most ambitious piece of stop-motion animation ever undertaken. Devised by Fallon and shot over three weeks in New York, the commercial employed 40 animators from Passion and used 2.5 tonnes of plasticine."

All the hard work was worth it. The effects are wonderful, the rabbits are fun to watch and the song "She's a Rainbow" is a perfect choice. Enjoy! Long live the Sony Bravia spots!

  1. i love the colors, love the bunnies and love the music.

  2. I agree the ad looks fantastic, especially the high res.
But, somehow, I think this one lacks the whole 'feel good' thing the balls had, or the scale the paint had. It's like they (Fallon) are trying a little too hard to top the previous one.

But then, I could just be wrong and this one is the best of the series.

  3. Maybe they got a little bit too wrapped up in the production of the spot and the whole stop-motion aspect of it and that lead to less emotion in the final piece.
